More details

In 1503, Isabella d'Este commissioned the painting "Combat of Love and Chastity" from Perugino for her studiolo (cabinet) at the Duke's palace in Mantua (today exhibited at the Louvre). This grand lady of the Renaissance doubtlessly served as an inspiration to designer Joâ Grenier for this delicate set of jewellery.
The necklace is made of cloisonné beads and crystals mounted on string, with a guilded metal clasp inspired by antique designs.
Length : 45cm
Hand-made, created by Joâ Grenier Inc for the Jaquemart-André museum.
