This marble plate takes up the 4 letters of the Roman motto ''the Senate and the Roman people'' , emblem of the Roman Republic. It symbolised the union of the Roman Senate (the descendants of the companions of Romulus, founder of the city) and the Roman people, i.e. all Roman citizens.
Dimensions: 10 x 10 cm, cork plate glued to the reverse side. Made in Italy
